 On Saturday, our oldest daughter turned into Sleeping Beauty.
Zee was tickled, because Princess Aurora, a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty, was her favorite Disney princess when she was a little girl. I was tickled too, because I soon realized that there were some benefits to this situation. [more]

 Our youngest daughter is left-handed. This realization struck me with great clarity as I was cleaning up after our daughters used watercolors yesterday and I was wondering why our youngest had made such a mess.

 We're having a lot of picnics nowadays. Today, we decided to have a beach picnic and drove out to one of the Ko Olina lagoons for an early dinner.
Most of our picnics take place in our neighborhood park. After today's beach picnic, though, I was thinking that maybe we should go beyond the park setting more often. What are some good picnic spots here on O'ahu? Do you have a personal favorite? [more]
